平和公園内にある植物を撮影したシリーズ。
平和公園周辺でのフィーフドワークを繰り返すうちに、そこのある植物の姿が目に留まるようになった。それぞれの植物は、被爆したものや公園が出来た当初からあるもの、公園完成後に数年後に植樹されたもの、など出自は様々だがどれも独特の存在感をもっている。被爆後、植物は生えないだろうと言われた広島(ヒロシマ)において植物の生命力は重要な意味をもっているとされているが、しかしそれらの
植物のディテールから感じる存在感は、ヒロシマという記号のもつ力の存在とは別のベクトルをもったものとしてそこにあると私は考えている。
